You will also be able to spectate matches and they will be stored online for anyone to view later by simply passing a link. All you need is a decent internet connection, and you're ready to battle! To push engagement, I will be adding a ranking system that ladders players based on busting level and wins. BN Online runs on a server that syncs frames every tick, meaning battles are always synced. Why play BN Online? If you're currently playing over an emulator, you'll know that there are a lot of problems involved in PvPing, the major one being desyncs. All battle chips, navi customizer parts and navis are available equally to all players. This was designed for the PvP community only. Will there be campaign? As of right now, there are no plans to add a campaign to BN Online. I have always wanted to make this project see light and I'm glad I was finally able to do so. This has been my 5th attempt in making a Battle Network online game and ever since I switched over to the engine Vylocity, a cloud based ide, the results have been phenomenal. Why create BN Online? I love PvP and I love the Battle Network series, and when I found out about the existing PvP community, I just had to make this. The end goal is to have the competitive community move their battles from emulators to this server run engine. This project started in April 2018 and is projected to be released mid July 2018. To the best of my abilities, I have designed BN Online to mimic Battle Network 6 gameplay as accurately as possible to appeal to PvP players. It features all battle chips from the 6th installment of the series as well as some others from previous games. Rejoice BN fans, I have come to you with a gift! BN Online is a non profit fan game created by a solo developer dedicated to the competitive Battle Network PvP community. There's currently a bug where you have to click out of the pin input before pressing enter to log in. EDIT - sorry for not making this part clear, when you hit the login page in the game you sign in with your full discord username and the 4 digit pin you set up in the #pin channel.
